At the very top - which was quite a hike - roses! And a magnificent view.

We also visited the Porcelain Museum at the top of the gardens beside the rose gardens.

Lazy day in Florence

Enough with the tours! We slept in, and strolled along the street where our Airbnb is located. It turns out to be the Ponte Vecchio if you keep walking. We stopped for lunch in a very classy restaurant. Then more aimless strolling.

In Lucca the old architecture is preserved, even the signage.  Makes for some oddities when the shops sell something completely different.
